Control Joint (CJ-V) - (CJ-DV)
Description
Movement control joints are used in concrete masonry to reduce shrinkage-related cracks and an essential part of the weather tightness performance of an external plaster finish. They manage the cracking by creating lines of weakness at predetermined locations in the plaster so that cracking occurs on these lines. They are forming a defined break or discontinuity in the cladding, such as a flashed joint.
Come in two shapes:
- Joint with Single V bend.
- Joint with Double V bend.
